Why are we different
Q: Is a bulk ink system right for everyone.

No. In order to recover the initial cost you need to be printing at least 5 prints a week.

Q:Can I buy ink in bulk and store it ready for use.

This is not wise. Two things happen to ink over time. First it settles, this can be overcome by shaking the bottle before use.  Second, uncured ink has a shelf life of about 12 months, after this period the chemical composition  starts to change due to the effect of temperature and UV.

Q:What happens If I don’t use my printer for a long period of time, will it be fine.

This is the biggest single factor of inkjet problems, ink will dry, whether on the paper or on the printer head, this in turn will cause a blockage. If you are going to leave your printer without printing for a period of time a few simple steps will prevent problems. Q:Do I have to modify my printer to work with your CIS system.

No, the system is designed in most cases to be installed without having to make permanent modifications to the printer.

Q:Will installing your system void my warranty with Epson.

No, it’s illegal in the EU for a company to renege on a warranty because the consumer has purchased third party consumables, Epson would have to prove that it was the third party products that caused the problem.

Q:Can I use your ink for sublimation printing

No, the ink we sell is for the reproduction of photographic and fine art prints, it is not designed to be subjected to the high temperatures associated with sublimation printing.

The bulk ink systems that we supply are made in the USA and have been extensively tested in our lab and by our field testers, using both Lyson and MediaStreet inks.

The recently released systems use a unique priming method which prevents damage to the exit port seal, must conventional bulk systems are primed at the ink exit port, this can damage the seal and allow the ingress of air, resulting in poor prints due to bad ink feed.

We have an in-depth knowledge of how the bulk ink systems work and are able to answer any question in relation to the correct installation and usage of the system with both Lyson and MediaStreet inks.
