The R1800 / R800 printer, when used with the lyson range of pigment inks, offers the photographer many benefits on the printing of both colour and monochrome images. Enhanced colours and fantastic tones can be produced due to the new gloss optimizer. It is now possible to print colour and black and white images on the same printer using the same ink set.

Technical Support for Lyson Products

The Lyson ink for the Epson R1800 / R800 are a Pigment based Photochrome compound which is extremely stable. The colour space of this ink set allows the accurate reproduction of both colour and monochrome prints. Lysons unique Gloss Optimiser does not change the overall appearance of the print , allowing the photographer to control the desired finish.

Custom ICC Printer Profiles for Lyson Inks

The Lyson ink for the Epson R800/R1800 printer offers the user an excellent colour space and fantastic longevity. To ensure that photographers get the best possible colour match, Lyson provide free generic ICC profiles and in most cases these are more than adequate and provide excellent results. However to get the best possible print quality and to be able to take full advantage of the colour range of Lyson inks, we recommend a custom profile. The cost of a custom profile is around £35.00, and full details are supplied with each Bulk Ink System.
