Many of the 1400 ink sets on the market today are nothing more than slight reformulations of inks used in older prints. The Lyson 1400 ink set however was created totally from scratch using recent advancements in ink jet technolog. Tthis allowed Lyson to make a dye ink that was brighter, more vibrant and with archival properties. Lyson produce their own inks and therefore have total control of the manufacturing process and are able to guarantee consistency between batches.
