What are Fotonic Inks
Lyson Fotonic inks are by far the most commonlly used, for those of you new to Lyson inks this set really comes into it's own when used to print colored photographic images on Canon or Epson printers, being dye based these inks can be used on most types of media.
The Lyson Fotonic ink range provides enhanced colors and also as great fade resistance properties which make it a great choice for Digital photographic ink jet printing. Fotonic is supplied in new, ready to use cartridges compatible for use on Canon and Epson ink jet photo printers. Fotonic inks can also be purchased in bulk via the Lyson inks continuous feed system.
Fotonic inks - Light Stability
Fotonic inks offer at least 5 times better resistance to fade then the current comparative original equipment manufacturers ink offering. Full testing has been carried out by Lyson Ltd and results have shown a life of up to 30 years in normal indoor display conditions without noticeable fade . Life time results do vary dependent on the printer model and the choice of media that the image is printed on.
Reliability
Thorough testing of all Fotonic cartridges is carried out using the same stringent procedures as the machine manufacturer. These tests include a 10,000 page full coverage print run without nozzle failure and Fotonic passes easily. Similar tests on troublesome pigment inks have failed miserably. You can be assured that with Fotonic you will achieve the same printer reliability as you would with the original cartridges.
Color Quality
Lyson inks produce one of the finest ink ranges in the world and there products are used by countless leading photographers the world over, to get the most out of your inks it is recommended that you install the correct ICC color profile for your printer, this is offered free and once installed should ensure that your prints are of the highest quality.
