The Lyson Quad Black ink system uses different intensities of black in place of the normal colour cartridge. The ink set produces fantastic MonoChrome prints with excellent tonal graduation that rival traditional Silver Halide printing. However users of the 1290 should consider the benefits of the Small Gamut inkset for the reproduction of MonoChrome prints.
