The Lyson Quad Blacks inks turn the Epson 2100 into a dedicated monochrome printer that is able to create stunning black and white images with no colour cast and smooth transitional gradients. The tone of the image can also be changed, increasing the magenta values in the print will result in an image that exhibits a warmer tone, while adjusting the cyan will give the print a cool tone.

Lyson PhotoChrome ( Pigment inks )
The Lyson Photochrome ink set are pigment based. This ink set possess exceptional  longevity properties, offering fade and colour shift resistance of over 130 years. When correctly profiled the Lyson Photochrome ink set can produce neutral black and white prints. This ink set is also water resistant.

Lyson Fontonic XG( Dye based inks )
The Lyson Fotonic XG ink set is dye based and offers the photographer a slightly extended colour gamut over the pigment based ( Photochrome ) ink set. However the dye based inks have a shorter longevity of around 40 years.

Lyson Ouad Black ( Monochrome )
The Lyson Quad Black Toneable ink set gives the photographer to tools to create stunning monochrome prints, with total neutrality, the hue of the print can also be controlled, allowing you to adjust the mood of your print. Once installed operation is simple and ICC profiles are not required with this ink set.
